  I was initially unsure this was the best choice in the area as it was a little cheaper than some. But having stayed here at newly opened Lakhey hotel I can honestly say this is one of the most wonderful hotel that i have ever stayed anywhere, hand painted traditional canvas art at the lobby blowed my mind for a while, The staff are not just friendly, but very helpful and informative - they are genuinely kind. The hotel itself smells good and is airy and is brighter and prettier than the photos suggest. Breakfast is great. All amenities work very well.   It's great. It's only a 6.7-minute walk from Thamel. It's located in a small alley, so quiet in the middle of the hustle and bustle! The hotel facilities are complete, new and hygienic. The boss, Brother Xiao Ming, is a handsome Nepalese boy who speaks excellent Chinese👍 and is enthusiastic. If you have any difficulties, look for him. If you need help, look for him. If you don’t know how to play, look for him!One minute behind the hotel is the supermarket Big Mart, which is super convenient.When traveling by taxi or going to the airport, the guy at the front desk will help you call a taxi, which is more affordable than bargaining for it yourself!Breakfast: Nutritious and healthy, with reasonable mix.   The best hotel in Nepal for 10 days, bar none, the best! It is completely designed according to Chinese tastes. It is clean and comfortable.   When I first arrived in Kathmandu, I stayed in Thamel Street. It was too noisy there so I changed to LAKHEY. The hotel is quite nice and very quiet. It's not far from Thamel Street and can be reached in ten minutes on foot😄The boss is very kind and handsome, and speaks fluent Chinese.   Excellent place to stay, for business trip, family tour trek etc ,very safe and new hotel in kathmandu  great ambience , very friendly staff, right from management to the housekeeping very helpful and respectful, also the hotel has their own travels so no issue of transport with very economical price , we stayed for 2 days and never felt far from home,.thank you the entire lakhey hotel  management and staff for making my trip so memorable which me and my family will cherish for life time.
